The Purpose of the Joyfulnotes Piano Method Series

• To enable Christian parents and teachers to effectively teach children who God is and what He wants for their lives using the tool of music
• To present basic concepts of playing piano in a way simple enough that young children (starting at ages 4-8) can understand and play familiar songs
• To teach these musical concepts with an approach allowing many students with special learning needs to enjoy learning to play the piano
• To make learning about music a fun process that encourages students to love music whether or not they pursue further training
• To give students enough understanding of music that they can use it to praise and glorify God throughout their lives
